Kolkata, Jul 5 (IBNS): Acting on a tip off, police on Monday late evening booked one suspected terrorist from a passenger train at Burdwan railway station in West Bengal, officials said.
According to reports, the middle-aged man boarded a Rampurhat bound train from Howrah railway station and came under police scanner. When the train reached Burdwan station, he was detained.

We had specific intelligence inputs about him. He was under continuous police surveillance from Howrah to Burdwan station. When the train reached Burdwan station, we detained him," one senior official of Burdwan district police told IBNS.
"He is being interrogated now. Few sharp weapons have been seized from his possession. He claimed that he bought those from Esplanade for his personal job.
