Kolkata, Dec 29 (IBNS): The Indian Army jawan, who was booked on Sunday night in Jharkhand for allegedly raping a minor girl inside a running train, was brought to Kolkata on Tuesday and handed over to Howrah GRP, reports said.
According to reports, a 14-year-old girl, who is a resident of Kolkata's Dumdum area, fled from her house and boarded Punjub bound Amritsar Mail from Howrah Railway Station on Sunday.

We have held one jawan- Manjrish Tripathi (RT Battalion 72, Eastern Command) from the train. He was not directly involved in the incident. He he has been booked for supporting others."
"We have identified the rest two and they will be arrested very soon. Besides the Howrah GRP, we will also investigate separately," he added.
