Two videos of JNU anti-India slogans doctored, 5 authentic says lab report
Hyderabad, Mar 2 (IBNS): Two videos of the controversial anti-India slogans being shouted at a JNU event to observe the death anniversary of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru were doctored while five others are authentic, said a forensic probe ordered by the Delhi government.
Reports on Wednesday said two videos were doctored with audio later added while other five videos are authentic.
The forensic report from the Hyderabad based laboratory said some voices have been added in the video.
Several JNU students have been arrested for glorifying Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru and being part of an event where anti-India slogans were raised, triggering a nationwide debate that sharply divided the people.
JNU student leader Kanhaiya Kumar was arrested first on sedition charges after anti-India slogans were raised inside the JNU campus at an event to observe the death anniversary of Guru.
Later other students, including Umar Khalid, surrendered to police.
