Budget Highlights: Jaitley on banking policies
New Delhi, Feb 29 (IBNS) Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Monday presenting the Union Budget 2016 said the government stands firmly behind public sector banks
Highlights:
Proposal for consolidation roadmap for public sector banks in 2017.
Proposal to allocate Rs 25,000 crore for recapitalization of public sector banks.
RBI Act is to be amended to give statutory backing for monetary policy.
