Xi Jinping arrives in Pakistan
Islamabad, Apr 20 (IBNS): Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Pakistan on Monday.
This is the leader's maiden visit to the country.
"The Chinese president was received at the Noor Khan airbase by President Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Raheel Sharif, Defence Minister Khwaja Asif and members of the prime minister's cabinet," Dawn News reported.
A high-level delegation, which is comprised of businessmen and senior government officials, is accompanying the leader.
Welcoming him, A 21-gun salute and guard of honour was presented to Jinping.
