Union budget has nothing for Bihar : Lalu Prasad
Patna, Feb 2 (TheBiharPost/IBNS): Describing Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the "India version of Donald Trump," RJD chief Lalu Prasadhas said both look hell-bent on destroying their countries' economy.
Prasad made the observation while reacting to the Union budget-2017-18 presented by the Modi Government at the Centre on Wednesday.
Drawing a similarity between Modi and Trump, the RJD chief said both are “unpredictable” and one just does not know what step both will
take the very next time.
He termed the Union budget as “useless” having nothing to offer for any section of the society.
“The budget has nothing to offer to any section for society and is dangerous for the country,” Prasad told the media on Thursday, adding
the budget has not provided anything for a state like Bihar.
He said ‘Roti kapda and makan’ (food, clothing and houses) are the basic necessities of the common men. “But, the budget has not made any
provision for this particular class. I will give them Zero mark out of 10,” said Prasad.
He also took potshot at the PM for going mysteriously silent ondeclaring how much black money had been recovered after launching demonetization drive while putting the whole nation in a lot of difficulties by suddenly withdrawing high value currency notes.
Terming notes ban as the biggest blunder of the Modi Government, the RJD chief alleged the move destroyed the small businessmen.
“This was the third budget of the Modi government and its impact hould have been seen only after two budgets but there is nothing to cheer about for any section of the society,” he said.
He also accused the Prime Minister of changing the names of old schemes and robbing youths of employment.
