Two security personnel injured in Chattisgarh mine attack by Maoists
Raipur, Dec 2 (IBNS) Two security forces personnel were injured on Wednesday in a landmine blast triggered by Maoists in Chhattisgarh's Kanker district, reports said.
The explosion took place when a joint team of Border Security Force (BSF) and district force was conducting operation under Koyalibeda police station limits.
Following the incident, reinforcement has been rushed and a combing operation launched in the area.
Security has been beefed up across the areas of Maoist hotbed, particularity in Bastar region, as the insurgents are observing the PLGA week from December 2-8 to commemorate their slain leaders.
