Street child thrown out of McDonalds in Pune
Pune, Jan 17 (IBNS) In a shocking incident, a street boy was thrown out of a McDonalds restaurants here on Saturday when he entered the outlet to buy food.
The incident came to be known as a woman who was at the restaurant that time, later discussed it on Facebook.s
Describing the incident, the woman said she had gone to the restaurant with some friends where they met the boy. As they were having Coke floats, the boy asked them whether he too could have the same staff to experience.
The woman went inside with the boy and asked him to stand in the line. But taking objection to his presence inside the restaurant, a McDonald worker said "this kind of people are not allowed inside."
Then they forced the boy out of the restaurant.
McDonalds later issued a statement, saying an internal investigation into the incident was going on.
"We wish to affirm that we treasure and respect everyone in equal measure and do not support any form of discrimination. We shall be examining if our employees have in any manner breached basic courtesy and respect and take appropriate action," the statement said.
" McDonald's seeks to provide all our customers a safe and welcoming environment. We will always ensure that our guests feel comfortable, safe and looked after," it said.
