RBI keeps repo rate unchanged at 7.5%
Mumbai, Apr 7 (IBNS): In its monetary policy review, the Reserve Bank of India on Tuesday kept the repo rate unchanged at 7.5 percent.
"Keep the policy repo rate under the liquidity adjustment facility (LAF) unchanged at 7.5 per cent," the RBi said in a statement.
"Keep the cash reserve ratio (CRR) of scheduled banks unchanged at 4.0 per cent of net demand and time liability (NDTL)," it said.
onsequently, the reverse repo rate under the LAF will remain unchanged at 6.5 per cent, and the marginal standing facility (MSF) rate and the Bank Rate at 8.5 per cent, the bank said.
