
Rani Mukerji weds Aditya Chopra in Italy
Mumbai, Apr 22 (IBNS) After years of speculations over their relationship, Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji finally tied the nuptial bond with filmmaker and Yashraj Films chairman Aditya Chopra in an Italian countryside, a statement by the actress confirmed on Monday.
"I would like to share the happiest day of my life with all my fans all over the world whose love and blessings have been part of my journey all these years. I know that all my well-wishers who have waited for this day will be really happy for me," said the statement from 36-year-oldRani Mukerji who acted in films like Black, No One Killed Jessica, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Bunty Aur Babli.
"It was a beautiful wedding in the Italian countryside with just a few of our close family and friends with us. The one person I missed terribly was Yash Uncle [late Yash Chopra], but I know he was there with us in spirit and his love and blessings will always be with Adi and me.
"I have always believed in fairy-tales and with God’s grace my life has been exactly like one, and now as I enter the most important chapter of my life - the fairy-tale continues."said Rani Mukerji
Aditya Chopra is a three-time National Award winning film director, producer, screenwriter and distributor. His work as a director includes Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Mohabbatein (2000), and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008).
Aditya Chopra is presently chairman of Bollywood's leading film, media and entertainment conglomerate, Yash Raj Films (YRF).
