Prithvi II successfully test-fired
Bhubaneswar, June 2 (IBNS) : India on Friday successfully test-fired the short range surfacetosurface ballistic missile Prithvi-II from a defence base off Odisha coast, reports said.
According to reports, the nine-metr long missile, developed by the DRDO, has a strike range of up to 350 km.
It can operate with both liquid as well as solid fuel.
The missile has the capability to carry a payload of up to 1,000 kg.
It has been designed to deliver advanced conventional warheads deep into enemy territory.
