Prince Harry arrives in Australia
Canberra, Apr 6 (IBNS): Prince Harry has arrived in the Australia where he will begin a four week attachment to the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
"During his time with the ADF, Captain Wales – as he is known in the British Army – will work and live alongside colleagues in the Australian Army in a number of regiments in Sydney, Darwin and Perth," Australia's Department of Defence said in a statement.
"He is expected to take part in a range of unit-based activities and training exercises. These will include urban training exercises, regional bush patrols, flight simulation and aviation activities, joint fire exercises and Indigenous engagements activities," it said.
"Captain Wales will also take part in routine activities, such as physical training, first aid training and pack marches. Additionally, he will have the opportunity to meet wounded, injured and ill service personnel during his time in Australia, which will compliment his advocacy work in this area in the UK," read the statement.
