PM greets people of Dijbouti on independence day
New Delhi, June 27 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday greeted the people of Djibouti on their Independence Day.
"On Djibouti's Independence Day, I convey my greetings and best wishes to the people of Djibouti," PM Modi tweeted.
He said India remains grateful to Djibouti, an African country, for their strong support and active cooperation to evacuate a large number of Indian nationals as well as nationals of other countries from strife-torn Yemen.
"It indicates the robustness of our ties," he said.
Djibouti attained independence from France on June 27, 1977.
