Personal sector is a source of great strength: Modi
New Delhi, Dec 10 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said limiting to private and public sector will restrict the development of the nation and more emphasis should be put on personal sector as it is a source of great strength.
"Merely restricting ourselves to private and public sector will limit our development. The personal sector is a source of great strength," Modi said at Jagran Forum.
"The first thing is to have faith in the people and their strengths. This becomes Lok Shakti," Modi said.
"Want to make India's development journey a 'Jan Andolan'; everyone must feel he or she is working for India's progress," he said.
Speaking on democracy, Modi said: "Our definition of democracy can't be restricted to elections and governments only. Democracy is strengthened by Jan Bhagidari."
