Ohio: Teacher faces jailtime for having sex with student after inebriating him
Columbus, May 18 (IBNS): A former Ohio prep teacher has been sentenced to two-years jail-time by a local court for having sex with a student after inebriating him with alcohol, reports said.
Identified as Jessica Storer, the accused was sentenced on Monday.
Her Husband Derrick Storer is also expected to face a maximum of six-month's jail time for supplying the student with alcohol.
"I accept full responsibility for him drinking and for not saying no," Jessica Storer was quoted as saying by the media.
"I do feel it was consensual. It was not forced. That's where I came in saying this should be between my husband and I, my priest and God," she told the court during her trial.
Storer, a mother of two, has also been asked by the judge to register herself as a sex offended for the rest of her life.
Meanwhile, the victim said that the incident has left him devastated.
"Jessica Storer has really made the last six months a living hell for me," a statement from the victim read.
"I hated it and I hated myself for doing it," another added.
