Newly-recruited militant captured with arms in Kashmir
Srinagar, Jul 14 (IBNS) : Security forces on Friday captured a recently-recruited militant from an orchard in North Kashmirs Bandipora town.
According to reports, Shahbaz Ahmad who joined militant ranks on June 26, 2017 was arrested by a special group of the state police and the Army's 13 RR unit during checking in th Markandul area.
“Shahbaz was an active militant in the area and was affiliated with Laskar-e-Taiba. We have recovered a pistol and a grenade from his possession,” said a senior police official.
