Infosys techie strangled with computer wire in her office in Pune
Pune, Jan 30 (IBNS) : A 25-year-old Infosys techie working was strangled with a computer cable at her office in Pune on Sunday,NDTV reported.
Based on CCTV footage,police arrested a security guard in Mumbai on Monday.
According to reports, K Rasila Raju, was found murdered with a computer wire around her neck inside a conference room on the ninth floor of the Infosys office at Hinjawadi on Monday night.
Raju, who hailed from Kerala, was an engineer.
Police said there were signs that she had also been hit on her face.
"On the basis of the CCTV footage from the company premises and other clues, we zeroed in on a security guard from Assam, who after the incident, fled and now has been held in Mumbai," NDTV quoted a police officer as saying.
Bhabhen Saikia, the accused, worked as a security guard at Infosys.
