India's representative J S Deepak presents his letter of Credentials to Director-General, WTO
New Delhi, Jun 7 (IBNS): The Union Ministry of Commerce & Industry said on Wednesday that J S Deepak, Ambassador/Permanent Representative of India to the World Trade Organization (WTO) presented his letter of Credentials to Director-General, WTO Roberto Azevedo, on June 6, 2017.
DG, WTO welcomed Ambassador J S Deepak and underlined India’s important role in the WTO especially for the forthcoming WTO Ministerial Conference in Buenos Aires in December 2017.
Prior to his WTO appointment, JS Deepak was the Telecom Secretary in the Union government. He is replaced by Aruna Sundararajan.
