Indian army conducted heliborne and ground attacks to foil the entry of infiltrators
New Delhi, Sep 29 (IBNS): Six to eight launch pads working from within Pakistan and from where terrorists where trying to enter India have been taken out during the surgical strikes across the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir, according to media reports.
The operation, which started late night on Wednesday ended at 4.30am on Thursday.
The Indian army had kept the areas under surveillance for a considerable time and took them out when they had intelligence reports that a large number of infiltrators were gathered at the launch pads, NDTV reported.

As a precautionary measure villagers near the LoC have been evacuated as a precautionary measure, the media reported.
