Fatal car crash kills Bajaj executive, wife

Mumbai, July 11 (IBNS): A senior Bajaj Auto executive and his wife were killed in a fatal car crash on Sunday afternoon while their two kids survived the scare, after their vehicle crashed into the median of the Pune-Mumbai expressway, reports said.

The incident took place at Malavi, 60 km away from Pune. Police rushed the family to a nearby hospital, where the man and his wife breathed their last.

The deceased were identified as Amrut Kumar Rath (47) and Padmaja (45). Though their teenage daughter and 10-year old son survived, they are presently recuperating in the ICU.
