Election Commission bans two advertisements of BJP in Bihar
New Delhi, Oct 31 (IBNS) The Election Commission on Friday put a ban on publication of two controversial advertisements of the BJP in Bihar.
The poll panel has asked Ajay Naik, Chief Electoral Officer of Bihar, to ensure that the two advertisements are not published in any newspaper or journal from Saturday onwards till the election process is over.
One of the advertisements charge RJD supremo Lalu Prasad and JD (U) leader Nitish Kumar with trying to transfer the reservation quota for Dalits and EBCs to minorities.
Another advertisement claimed that RJD, JDU and Congress leaders are “giving sanctuary” to terrorists to appease a particular community for votes.
The two advertisements have already been published in newspapers.
