
BJP President Amit Shah announces new team
New Delhi, Aug 16 (IBNS): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah on Saturday announced his new team naming former Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa as one of the 11 vice-presidents of the party.
Shah announced the names of Bandaru Dattatrey and Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi as two other vice-presidents of the BJP.
The newly-appointed BJP president’s team comprised eight general secretaries including party’s in-charge for Bihar Rajiv Pratap Rudy and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) spokesperson Ram Madhav.
Surprisingly, BJP MP from Sultanpur Varun Gandhi’s name was dropped as a general secretary by the party.
Shah also appointed 10 new party spokespersons.
