Amit Shah attacks Oommen Chandy govt of Kerala on scams
Thiruvanthapuram, May 19 (IBNS) Calling the Oommen Chandy government a "government of scams" BJP president Amit Shah on Tuesday led a 'seige protest' organised by the party demanding removal of Kerala finance minister KM Mani over his alleged involvement in the bar bribery scam.
Speaking outside the Kerala Secretariat in Thiruvananthapuram, Shah when the UPA government at the centre was there, 12 lakh crores of public money was lost in scams.
"Here too, the Oommen Chandy government is a government of scams."
"And on the other hand, PM Modi is running a government which, even our opponents can't say, is involved in a single scam," he claimed.
Shah said the Narendra Modi government is a government which works for the poor of this country and in one year it has been able to get bank accounts for 14 crore people.
"This Modi government is waging war against unemployment in this country....We have programmes for skill development and 'Make in India' to give employment to people in this country," he said.
