Tamil Nadu Governor Vidhya Sagar Rao accepts O. Panneerselvam's resignation
Chennai, Feb 6 (IBNS): O. Panneerselvam's resignation has been accepted by Tamil Nadu Governor Vidhya Sagar Rao.
"TN Governor Vidhya Sagar Rao accepts Honourable CM Thiru.O. Panneerselvam's Resignation," the AIADMK party tweeted.
Longtime companion of J Jayalalithaa- Sasikala Natarajan- is all set to become the next Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, officials said.
She has been elected as the AIADMK Legislature Party Leader.
After Jayalalithaa's death in December last year, O Panneerselvam took oath as the CM of the state.
