Srinivas Kuchibhotla's widow says she wants to return to fulifl husband's dreams
New Delhi, Mar 2 (IBNS) : Sunayana Dumala, the widow of Srinivas Kuchibhotla -- the Indian techie who was shot dead last month in Kansas City in a hate crime, says she wants to return to fulfil her "husband's dream," The Times of India reported.
In a Facebook post paying a tribute to her husband -- Dumala talks of it as a question that's in "every immigrant's mind... do we belong here?"
Dumala said she was determined to resume life in Kansas where the couple had moved few years ago with dreams, built their house and planned to start a family.
While Kuchibhotla worked for Gramin, Sunayana had taken up a job with another company. After his death, company officials of Intouch Solutions called on her in Olathe and told her that she could take as much time as she wanted and return to work.
Thanking Congressman Kevin Yoder and Senator Jerry Moran for working on her migration status, she wrote, "This is my Srinu's dream, and it is the least I could do for my Srinivas - fulfill his dreams through my eyes - and it is for this I have to come back to the USA".
