Former NSA M K Narayanan attacked with footwear in Chennai
Chennai, Nov 5 (IBNS) Former National Security Adviser M K Narayanan was attacked with footwear by a suspected pro-Tamil activist at a programme on Wednesday, reports said.
According to police and eyewitnesses, the accused, identified as Prabhakaran hurled a slipper at the former West Bengal Governor at a programme in Chennai to discuss about the problems of Sri Lankan Tamil refugees.
Narayanan did not suffer any injuries..
Prabhakaran was immediately detained by police and taken for interrogation.
