Colorado Springs: Shooting at Planned Parenthood clinic, kills 3

Colorado Springs, Nov 28 (IBNS): At least three people were killed as a gunman opened fire at a Colorado Planned Parenthood clinic here on Friday.

The deceased included one policeman and two civilians.

Colorado Springs Police Department said on its Facebook page: "UPDATE: shooting on Centennial Blvd. at Planned Parenthood. Dead: UCCS police officer and two civilians."

"Wounded: five ‪#‎CSPD‬ officers and four civilians- all in good condition," it said.

Police have taken the male suspect into custody.

Planned Parenthood tweeted: "We’re monitoring the situation at the #ColoradoSprings PP health center. Right now our concern is for the safety of patients, staff & police."
