Chhota Rajan links Mumbai police with Dawood Ibrahim
New Delhi/Bali, Nov 3 (IBNS) Arrested gangster Chhota Rajan dropped a bombshell by hinting at the linkage of some Mumbai Police officials with wanted underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, reports have claimed.
Rajan who is currently awaiting deportation process in Bali, spoke about his past experiences with the Mumbai Police.
The gangster was quoted by NDTV as saying, "The Mumbai Police has done a lot of 'atyachar' (atrocities) on me...the government should look into that. Some in the Mumbai Police are mixed up with Dawood"
When asked about his preferential place to stay, he said, "I will go wherever the government will take me," while adding, "I just want justice."
Reiterating his earlier claim of not being afraid of Dawood, Rajan said, "I am not afraid of Dawood. All my life I have fought against terror and will keep fighting against Dawood and terror."
Rajendra Sadashiv Nikhalje, alias Rajan, is a close- aide- turned- rival of Dawood Ibrahim, who is wanted for at least 75 cases ranging from murder, smuggling and extortion.
