Brazilian surfer shot dead
Rio de Janeiro, Jan 21 (IBNS): Brazilian surfer Ricardo dos Santos has been shot dead outside his home close to Florianopolis city, media reports said.
According to reports, he was shot dead by an off-duty police office.
"Mr dos Santos, who was 24, was shot three times on Monday when he confronted the officer and another man," BBC reported.
The surfer died at a hospital on Tuesday after undergoing four operations.
