Somalia: At least seven killed in Mogadishu restaurant attack
Mogadishu, Aug 26 (IBNS): At least seven people were killed in an attack on a sea side restaurant in Mogadishu, Somalia's capital, reports said.
The incident took place on Thursday.
BBC quoted police officials as saying that a car bomb exploded near the Banadir Beach Club in the Lido area, following which gun men attacked the inhabitants.
Two attackers were reportedly killed following an encounter by security forces and another captured after a six-hour long operation.
Al-Shabab, a terrorist outfit, claimed responsibility for the attack.
