Radhe Maa to be quizzed by police on dowry case
Mumbai, Aug 14 (IBNS) Godwoman Radhe Maa will be quizzed by the Mumbai Police on Friday in a dowry harassment complaint by a woman whose in-laws are her followers.
She was earlier denied anticipatory bail by a Mumbai court on Thursday.
Last week, a 32-year-old woman had filed a complaint of domestic violence and dowry harassment against her in-laws and Radhe Maa. She alleged that the 'godwoman' instigated her in-laws, who have been her followers.
Sukhwinder Kaur alias Radhe Maa has to appear before the Mumbai police now.
She has maintained that she is pure and pious and has also found support from many quarters.
The self styled godwoman also faces charges of obscenity, cheating and abetment to suicide.
