PM Modi offers sympathy to Great East Japan Earthquake victims
New Delhi, Mar 11 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday offered sympathy towards the victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake on its 5th anniversary.
PM Modi wrote on Twitter: "On 5th anniversary of Great East Japan Earthquake, India offers deep sympathy to those affected. We admire the resilience of people of Japan."
The Great East Japan Earthquake or the Tohoku Earthquake occurred in 2011.

At least 15,000 people lost their lives while several others were injured in the earthquake.
