PM Modi and President Mukherjee condemn the Paris attack
New Delhi/London, Nov 14 (IBNS) President Pranab Mukherhjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday condemned the deadly Paris attack that took place a day earlier.
The President wrote: "Strongly condemn terrorist attacks in Paris, India stands firmly by France, my heart goes out to its people #PresidentMukherjee."
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is in the UK on a visit, wrote: "News from Paris is anguishing & dreadful. Prayers with families of the deceased. We are united with people of France in this tragic hour."
The attack took place on Friday in Paris as a reported 150 people were killed. Reports have also claimed that terrorists with AK 47's and bombs strapped to their bodies plagued the capital of France, including a football stadium where fans were enjoying a match between France and Germany.
