North Korea issue: Obama to meet Park Geun-hye, Shinzo Abe
Washington, Mar 29 (IBNS) President Barack Obama will host President Park Geun-hye of South Korea and Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan for a trilateral meeting on the margins of the Nuclear Security Summit on Thursday.
The leaders will discuss the issue of North Korea during the meeting.
" This meeting will be an opportunity for the three leaders to discuss common responses to the threat posed by North Korea and to advance areas of trilateral security cooperation in the region and globally," the White House said in a statement.
Violating the UN Security Council resolutions and triggering tension, North Korea conducted a nuclear test and used ballistic missile technology to launch a satellite recently.
