Kejriwal Government moves Supreme Court over power tussle with Centre
New Delhi Jul 1 (IBNS) : Continuing its battle with the Centre, the Arvind Kejriwal Government has moved the Supreme Court seeking a decision on whether or not Delhi is a state, reports said.
The apex court will hear the case on Monday.
Delhi government's lawyer Indira Jaising told the court that there has been a "virtual paralysis" in Delhi as there has been a fight over jurisdiction.
Ever since it came to power the Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party Government has been in a tussle with the Centre over primacy since important subjects like policing and land are still controlled by the central government.
