J & K : One terrorist killed as army foils infiltration attempt
Jammu, Jul 13 (IBNS) One terrorist was killed following a gun battle with the Indian army during a foiled infiltration bid along the Line of Controlt in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
Reports quoted a defence spokesman as saying that a group of terrorists tried to infiltrate into Indian territory along the LoC in Balnoie area of Poonch district early on Monday morning.
Troops guarding the LoC challenged them resulting in an encounter in which one terrorist was killed.
This is the second time in two days when a Pakistan infiltration attempt has been foiled. On Sunday, the Army had killed three infiltrators in Keran sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
