Delhi:Girl raped, killed, set on fire, 2 detained
New Delhi, Aug 1 (IBNS): Two men have been detained over the alleged rape and murder of a 16-year-old girl in east Delhi last week, reports said.
According to reports, the body of the girl was found at her residence in Gandhi Nagar on Thursday.
The girl was raped, murdered and then her body was attempted to be set on fire, reports said.
Police have registered two separate cases against the accused.
"A friend of the victim, who helped identify the accused, has claimed she was also sexually assaulted by the two suspects," NDTV reported.
