Dangal rakes up 374 cr in domestic Box-office

Mumbai, Jan 20 (IBNS): Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's Dangal has raked up Rs 374 crore from the domestic market.

"#Dangal [Week 4] Fri 1.94 cr, Sat 4.06 cr, Sun 4.24 cr, Mon 1.37 cr, Tue 1.27 cr, Wed 1.16 cr, Thu 1.04 cr. Total: ₹ 374.95 cr. India biz," business analyst and Bollywood film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted.

The film has already broken and created several records.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal is a biopic of India's foremost wrestling family, the Phogats.

It stars Aamir Khan as former Indian wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra as wrestlers Geeta and Babita Phogat respectively.

Dangal was released on Dec 23, 2016 in India.
