Court verdict on Haryana's Maruti Suzuki factory violence today
Gugaon, Mar 10 (IBNS) : A court in Gurgaon in Haryana is expected give verdict on Friday on the 2012 violence in Maurti Suzuki factory in Manesar in which a manager was set on fire in a conference room and a mob ran amok carrying out massive destruction, reports said.
Human Resources Manager Awanish Kumar Dev was burned to death in the violence in the plant of the country's largest car manufacturer.
Nearly 150 workers were arrested on charges including criminal conspiracy and murder.
The plant remained shut for a month after the incident in which 50 management personnel and nine police officers were injured.
The riot began after disciplinary action was taken against an employee.
